La hedera se conoce comúnmente como hiedra, es una planta trepadora resistente a las más diversas condiciones pedo-climáticas.

Florece a finales de verano, las plantas saben cuándo florecer gracias a una hormona que monitoriza la luz solar, así conocen en qué momento/estación se encuentran.

Una sola hedera puede abarcar una pared de gran envergadura, de tal manera que la luz del sol incida de forma diferente en cada zona del organismo, dando floraciones graduales y dinámicas.

Esta obra busca capturar ese movimiento vegetal en un conjunto de paraguas motorizados que florecen de forma armónica y organizada, agarrados a la pared, desde el suelo, van trepando por las superficies del espacio reproduciéndose de forma invasiva.

The hedera, commonly known as ivy, is a climbing plant resistant to the most diverse soil and climate conditions.

 

It blooms at the end of summer; the plants know when to bloom thanks to a hormone that monitors sunlight, thus they are aware of what time/season they are in.

A single ivy can cover a large wall in such a
way that sunlight falls differently on each area of the organism, giving way to gradual and dynamic blooms.

This work seeks to capture this vegetal movement in a set of motorized umbrellas that flourish in a harmonious and organized way; clinging to the wall, growing from the ground, they climb the surfaces of the space, reproducing in an invasive way.
